A glitch can happen in many different ways.

The most common glitch, however, is forgetting to program something or programming something incorrectly.

It's like when your doing a maths equation and your answer is wrong.
In the same way programming is doing something to get an output.
If you make a mistake however, you'll get a different output which is usually a glitch.
