    Just DRAY some sponge soaked in water in a stasis.

     There are no other methods I know of to duplicate SPNG. You're better off using some other method.

    SPNG duplication is impossible without DRAY as there are no reaction that make or duplicate SPNG; you either have to use DRAY or forgo SPNG duplication and produce WATR by other means, such as with PTNM.  You could, instead of duplicating SPNG, create it using CRAY; CRAY-spawned elements inherit the CRAY's life, so you could set CRAY(SPNG) to the desired life and generate SPNG accordingly.
