Ok, so basically, i was wondering how many elements you need to acquire all obtainable elements,(assuming the PGRV, NGRV, AIR, VAC, HEAT and COOL tools are allowed) not including ones that are in a loop, (such as element A making element B and vice versa without anything being able to make A or B), my first idea for an element we need for this is Hydrogen, fusion can get you pretty good results, HYGN and OXYG combust to make water, and we get NEUT from fusion, so DSTW as well, since WATR+NEUT=DSTW, then BUBW since CO2+WATR=BUBW.

This is somewhat the point of my InfiniFactory saves. Using only closed loops (glow+phot=glow+2phot) (sltw+watr=2sltw=sltw+watr+0.25salt, salt+sltw=2sltw) (plnt [tmp=1]+wood=plnt [tmp=1]+wood+vine) and similar loops, It can produce a LOT of different things. Of course, each factory only has a few outputs to choose from, but any element that can be made only using the excess of those loops (there are a couple more loops i am not including) is considered "renewable" as it can be made infinitely without ever spawning *anything*.
Phot can make elec and neut to make hygn, which can then make oxyg, those make dstw. But also the infinite watr/sltw/salt/snow/dstw/ice/fog/rime loop can make oxyg and hygn. Neut and vine (plnt) can make wood, which heated and put in negative pressure makes bcol. Sltw+qrtz=2qrtz (self terminating reaction as tmp sometimes sets to -1, so you need to cycle the created qrtz into the seed qrtz position, and will end up with about 56% of the qrtz being sterile with tmp=-1). qrtz+clst=2crmc=2clst [qrtz->clst]. add some watr, and you get pste, which can be heated, then broken, into stne. You can then make molten rock products, you can mix the stne with bcol to make slcn, you can do lots of things. I wont spell it all out for you, as i encourage you to explore and play around with it.
