When suggesting any new elements/features, generally tell us something more about it's uses. Adding details such as element's reactions, features, etc. or even providing somewhat functional code increases the likelihood of that element actually being added. Additionally, try not to suggest anything that already exists in some form.
It's a great idea, but it probably won't ever happen, The mods will not add anything that is even vaugely redundunt to another element, even if it would break nothing and the code already exists in a already used mod, and you provide a justification and check every box they want you to.
My tip is to just use a mod and push it's use forward with a great showcase of it's use.
