Why does SING work like this?

The TMP of SING-ctype materials like SNOW or EXOT controls the power of the sing. However, what I don't get is why TMP works differently from SNOW to EXOT. Can someone explain how EXOT (SING)'s TMP AND TMP2 are 11500 in, say, the Azure Lotus, and why SNOW's is only 255. Also, why does EXOT even need 2 TMPs? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

There are 4 TMP variables, and each element uses them differently. Some simple elements, like DUST, don't use them at all, but more complex elements tend to use more of them. Every particle has these values, but they don't mean anything on their own and what they do depends on how the element uses them.
