How to keep a stable input in a reactor?

    I have never made a fully working reactor before, today I tried to make a deuterium reactor. I inputted deuterium using PIPE and right when the reaction started the end of the PIPE melted. How do I get this to work?

     You can use PPIP and SPRK it with PSCN once (the PSCN SPRK will retain even after saving and reloading) and then it will be an indestructible pipe.
