So I had over 30 script turned on and then the whole TPT app became unplayable as it would just close whenever it left the logo screen. I lost all my old saves and I'm very angry.

Can you provide more details? It is extremely unlikely that anything in the script manager would cause data loss.

I'm guessing you are getting crashes, due to the large number of scripts? Crashes are very rare, but are possible. Especially if a script has an infinite loop, the game would be unable to continue. So you'd be unable to launch TPT at all.

Solving it is simple, delete the scripts. Open Windows Explorer and go to this folder: %APPDATA%\The-Powder-Toy
Just copy paste that, the percentage signs denote a special folder and it will know where to go. Once you go there, delete the scripts directory and all of your scripts will be gone.

Good catch, I failed to notice that.

It explains so much more too, like how the old saves were lost. Fixing the problem would have required a reinstall, which deletes all your local saves and stamps.

On recent versions of Android, you can't even access TPT's data directory to delete scripts/ manually. Rooting your device or reinstalling is the only way.

you could move the scripts form the scripts folder to another location.
