TPT Crashes M1 Max, Mac Requires Restart

I am running The Powder Toy on a [32 core M1 Max] [Mac Studio] with [32gb Ram] on [macOS Monterey 12.5], TPT runs incredibly well but there seems to be some kind of leak as the longer it is open, the system becomes increasingly laggy and unstable, I have a tripple monitor setup, one slightly over 4k and two 1080p monitors and it freezes up one monitor at a time without disconnecting them, then the system becomes unresponsive and requires a hard restart. There is also strange artefacting when dragging windows over TPT, similar to screen tearing.

Is there any way to fix this? or should I just wait for an update.

Lacking hardware, we have absolutely no way to reproduce this.

TPT is not known to be leaky in terms of memory, and graphics and other user interface interaction is handled by the very widely used SDL2 library. Also, generally, when graphics beyond the control of an app fail, it's not the app's fault, it's just what triggers a fault somewhere else.

But yeah, I'm at a loss as to how this could be debugged.
