Idea for moderation

I had an idea today. What if you promoted everyone to mod? We would have a lot less Normal users breaking rules, and we could fix tag spam. So many tags are incorrect, yesterday I saw the tag city, when the save was obviously a town.
Also, we should remove the option to browse saves online to stop trolls from mass downvoting, or maybe remove all the elements exept PLNT so we can save the planet

April Fools aside this would be an absolutely terrible idea. While only a select few have a banhammer, pretty much every mod can unpublish saves, which would mean trolls would likely unpublish saves like the Destroyable City line and other saves whose developer is no longer active, meaning most of the second page would just vanish. This would also happen to the front page, which would completely destroy all sense of order in TPT.
And the PLNT only idea, dear god. The number of saves that would become blank void saves, the amount that would get corrupted, would turn TPT into a wasteland, with nothing to create with but a green pixel that does nothing, and can't even burn since FIRE would also be removed.

Some of these ideas are pretty close to what we've done in the past actually.
TPT Staff did make everyone mod before. It was fake though, it made it say everyone was "Moderator" but it had no effect. A new subforum which was a fake version of the moderator-only subforum was opened.
I also locked most of the elements in the past. PLNT was one of the elements unlocked by default :P.
And lastly I did give everyone the power to promote saves to front page at some point. It was as much chaos as it sounds. The entire page was full of random promoted saves, most people promoted their own, it would last about 20 minutes before other promotions overwhelmed it. -
