So, one of my current projects on The Powder toy is that I'm attempting to design a piston ship mechanism that I can utilise. So far, I've been attempting to dissect piston ships to figure out what the mechanism is, precisely, so I can come up with my own design, hopefully with some form of lithium power cell or battery powering it. I haven't been able to find tutorials, either, aside from one that merely lays out the mechanisms of the PSTN element.
So far, unfortunately, I'm a little bit stumped as to how I can correctly do this, because as stated, my end goal is to come up with my own piston ship design that, if possible, utilizes lithium as a power source. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me in helping me understand further about these fascinating mechanisms.
