    This is already how it works. ROCK just has a high melting temperature. Not the highest in the game, but pretty high.

    Molten ROCK solidifies into LAVA. Normal LAVA still solidifies into STNE, unless it gets put under more than 30 pressure, in that case it solidifies into ROCK.
