this happens every time i use DMG

    every time i use DMG it does ERROR: memory read/right error. an unrecoverable fualt has accurred

    Could you be more specific than "use"? What do you do exactly? Also, which version of TPT is this?

    Do you have an autorun.lua, and does this also happen if you temporarily rename it to something else?

    yes i do use autorun and how do you rename it?

    Assuming you use windows, click Open Data Folder in TPT's settings, find autorun, right click it, click Rename in the menu and choose some random name. Doesn't matter what, just don't make it autorun. When you're done checking if TPT still crashes, give it its old name back.

    now tpt just freezes

    Try deleting powder.pref (keep a backup of it in case this doesn't work).
