Powder Toy Crashes when opened

Hey Powder Toy Makers! I am having a problem. I love powder toy a lot. Ive followed the updates since... i dunno around 2006. I have it on my PC, but i also just recently got a mac. I downloaded the file under the macintosh operating system thing and unzipped it then i double-clicked on the icon, It asked me whether i wanted to open it because it was downloaded from the internet, (as usual) i clicked open, it popped up on the dock for a second, then disappeared. then it said it had crashed and would i like to relaunch it. i click relaunch and it does the same thing again. please help me figure out how to work it!!!

I am having an identical issue as well. Can't speak for the OP, but I'm running OSX 10.5.8.
Here's part of the error report that seems pertinent:

I also tried going back and downloading older versions, and they had the same problem up until a point where they were just flat out incompatible with my version of OSX (so my computer told me). -
I'm version 10.5.8 also. Hope this helps!

i have the exact same problem and i think it is because the mac is maybe for snow leopard??? i am running leopard.
If anyone knows,, please help! -
i installed the upgrade to snow leopard ( i formerly had a leopard 10.5.8 ) it was snow leopard 10.6.5
now i download and when i open it, doesn't crash anymore!!!
Works perfectly
