We do not accept requests to become moderators. We aren't looking at the moment.
When we do need more moderators, we find someone ourselves and ask them to be one. It's almost always someone that we are familiar with and has been active on IRC for a long period of time (and maybe discord soon, if I ever set that up). Right now IRC is how moderators communicate.
You can still help by reporting saves. If you ever see an argument in the comments, report the save and ask us to look at it or delete them. You can also report stolen saves, or report for any other reason of someone breaking the rules.

Still, it's better to just not ask. Be nice, good, helpful and you'll eventually get noticed.

Yep, that's one downside ...
Also, most of the people on IRC don't play TPT anymore, so there's barely any TPT discussion at all.
