Windows 10 issue

So every time i try to open Powder.exe(powder toy) it keeps whining about that its not a microsoft approved app and to get it from the windows store and a button to continue installing even though its not an install. (its a portable install)
Is there a way to get it to stop complaining?

S mode is not enabled, it still keeps complaining. but there is a button to continue running the program but it pops up every time i want to start it.

Do you have a screenshot of the dialog you could post? I may have run into it in the past, but forgot whether there was an easy way to disable it -

Have you tried changing your "App Recommendation Settings" it notes below the options? -

Have you followed those steps? Windows is painfully awful these days with the messages. I'll try digging into the issue further and report back
