There was just an update released a few hours ago. I wouldn't call it dead. Obviously not as active as it was 6 years ago. The updates are way less frequent and smaller than they were back then too.

CatAnimation is some banned user from years ago, no active user cares about them anymore and I don't know why you are mentioning them.
