Question about ray defenses

A while back I hit a wall, which is pretty funny considering I'm building one lol. I built the most challenging defensive wall challenge in the entire game, beyond a shadow of a doubt. I can defend against anything, except when it comes to the most extremely destructive of all ray devices, and that is where I hit a wall. So honestly I gave up for a while, but now I'm back. This was years in the making, and I fully intend to make it perfect, but to do that I need more information. I was thinking about using some extreme stacking as a counter, but stacking more than 5 particles can result in BHOL being created, which is kinda cool and realistic, I like it, but it's really f****** me over here lol. So I had an idea, what if some particles are denser than others? Are there any elements I can stack more than 5 times? Atm only FILT, CRAY and solid SPRK are immune to ray. I was hoping to develop this without any assistance :( but it's starting to look like a solid ray defense is impossible, I have been trying for years to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sorry, but you indeed hit a wall. There is nothing possible except using Lua commands to alter the stacking.

Lua commands can't disable stacking, the 6 particle limit is hardcoded in the source code and can't be changed.

You could use ehole to get a limit of 1500, but ehole changes movement physics significantly by allowing stacking, so will likely cause other issues.
