    hey guys, its been a while. most of yall probably dont remember me but if you do im probably super proud of having some kind of legacy. i like to think i was kind of a big deal back when i was active but i dunno how much impact i really had. anyways i spent the past 3 years goin thru severe depression lmao, tried 2 commit epic gamer die a few times but never got around to it lol im p glad that never happened. anyways i just found some antidepressants that actually work and ive finally got the energy to get back into this so its nice to be back lol

    anyways what did i miss in the past 3 years? who's popular now? is the modding scene still active/is this game dead?

    (im gonna be remaking my old mod from scratch wish me luck)

    I think the main change lately has been the subframe revolution. I don't remember the exact date for it, but it was a while ago. Essentially, if you don't know, it's a way for electronics to update particles multiple times within a frame, through the clever use of particle update order. It's mostly used for things like lasers (to make PHOT faster) or for computers (to increase the number of actions performed per frame).
    I don't remember what elements have been added in the last 3 years, exactly, but if there are any you don't recognise you can probably find guides on them in the saves somewhere :P

    Glad you're feeling better now, and welcome back to TPT!

    Welcome back.
    Here's a great thread covering subframe: The Subframe Lessons.
    Art saves also became super popular at some point, not sure if they still are, I can only see a couple of them on FP.

    Dev/mod side of things:
    Not sure if you were here when TPTAPI and the alternative TPT server were shut down, but TPTAPI is being rebuilt: TPTAPI.com Release.
    Snapshots are now a thing, and development is still pretty active: TPT Snapshots / Betas.
    @jacob1 can finally make changes to the website: Site Changelog (inactive thread).
    The rules were updated: Rules of The Powder Toy.
    You can no longer create or join a group, and groups will most likely be permanently removed at some point. The group system is broken and it's very difficult to grow them, so it's the right decision to remove them.
    @boxmein and I became mods.

    There's an official TPT Minecraft server, but it's currently inactive. It might be brought back to life when a new update is released, though I'm not quite sure. Here's the thread anyway: TPT Minecraft Server.
    I can't think of any more changes that were made.

    I remember your mod. I still have it on my PC. TPT isn't dead, just slow these days.
