Version 44.7 in Linux

    I've tried updating to version 44.7 from version 44.6, but I keep getting an error message telling me to update to a newer version I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.10. Any ideas as to whats causing this problem?

    download from the download page, i had the same error.

    I know same here. somtimes it tries to download it with wine. ( a windows interpreting program duh) and I get the very slow windows version.
