Here's a script for a bacterial mod, Ahem:

    https://pastebin.com/u9X2MPQn

BCTR - Basic bacteria, your starter in the mod, found in the special menu, they turn to BCTW.

BCTW - Bacterial Wall. They do majority of the keep-the-colony-alive stuff. They can make BCTD, ABCT or when submerged in water they'll turn to AQBC. They grow rapidly with CO2

BCTD - Decomposing Bacteria, these turn PLNT, ALGE and WOOD into ash, especially wood. They usually stick and spread and build more bacterial wall.

ABCT - Airbourne Bacteria, these are released by the colony either randomly, by a separate part of the colony with airbourne bacteria mainly or when submerged in any liquid. They turn ASH and OXYG to CO2

AQBC - Aquatic Bacteria, these are released either randomly or when a colony is in water or on water, they travel downards in the water forming a layer, when they're 1 px only they float up, they build BCTW at the surface, it's best to put some oil for it to grow easier.

ASH - Simple, light, flammable powder, gets turned by ABCT into CO2. Turns to Oil, Smoke and Dust when under pressure. Floats on water.

CSNW - Carbon Dioxide Snow, produced when DRIC is hit with high pressure, behaves like normal snow but turns to carbon dioxide, also as slow as dric. Artificial food for bacteria if you will. Don't put too much.

ALGE - Algae, multiply in water, edible by BCTD. Turn CO2 to OXYG over time.

Sure, i'm currently making CO2 Snow as some artificial food. You can also place them on a bit of dric if you want them to grow fast.

I'm planning on adding antibiotics. And I think I wanna do some sort of "Algea" that grows and that the bacteria can eat.

He or she is probably working on it and, when they're done they will post the link to download the mod. In the meantime be patient.

you can use jacob1s mod's script loader. copy and paste the script into a file and save it as all files, and have .lua at  the end. put it into the "scripts" folder. then  use the lua tool to run it

As immune said, you simply copy the script, put it in an empty lua file, put that file in your scripts folder in tpt, then you restart/open the game, go to your lua mod manager, go to local, enable the script and badabingbadaboom you have yourself a mod.

Well there's sorta no use to do that. Bacteria already eat ash, plnt, wood, alge and csnw.
