Modifyable heat display

Lately I've been messing around with extreme temperatures, but I was thinking it would be nice to visually see the changes in temperature. Heat gradient works okay, however it fluctuates a lot due to how it just generates a repeating gradient.

For example, my recent works on the Energy Condenser. With this device I'm working on trying to cram as much heat per frame into a single point to drive CONV-core fusion. There are definitely differences in temperature, but because everything is in the range of 8500 to 9725 at all times, it's pretty much impossible to tell the difference between the temperature of the heaters VS the temperature of the core.

I got to thinking, what if we could choose the minimum and maximum temperatures for heat display to color? Normal heat display could still be accessed with 6, so modifyable heat display could be accessed with Shift+6. Anything at or below the set minimum color would be rendered as dark blue, and anything at or above the set maximum color would be rendered as bright pink.

For example, setting the minimum to 8000 and the maximum to 10000. Anything colder than 8000K would render as dark blue, and anything above would render as bright pink

I'm sure something like this would be useful to other technical members as well. You could adjust it to work within any small range of temperatures, so that if making any kind of heat-sensitive device, you could more easily locate failure points and their causes by being able to visually see the flow of heat due to a more drastic difference in color.

Perhaps I'll have to look into it, tho this would be great as an official feature
