While the powder toy doesn't use the .Net framework, it may help to have either version 3.5 or 4.0

I did some search and found that the x86 c++ package is the problem, in some xp computers it dont install/install files in another place. Maybe I need to look manualy if all the files of the package are in the right place, can you give me a files/folder list?

I WILL POST IN CAPS LOCK BECAUSE IM KIND OF HAPPY AND ANGRY...forget that.

Well, I can run the program now!

I did lots of search and by starting of zero again today I find some nice info...

Resuming, I downloaded the .manifest of powder toy and opened it with notepad. There was a line...

    vc80...CRT...8.0.50727.640 (something like this).

But in my windows/winsxs/x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT...etc etc the msvcr80.dll is version 8.0.50727.42.

I changed the line and saved the file.

I'm pretty sure that the files had come with the MS package so I think the fault is of the program.

I hope it help, and now I'll enjoy the newer versions.

Linux's can be great systems, but I personally like the paid-for windows 7.
