Some ideas are uniform enough that they get suggested a few dozen times before they're made.

In FILT's case, it was going to use @_@ element as a solid photon color filter but ended up being its own unique element. It wasn't deliberately meant to fill that purpose but it kind of ended up being.

Wifi was supposed to basically be a portal sponge that absorbs sparks the same way portal does. :P It gets around the lag of Electrode by using an imaginary space to hold the element for a brief time before all other wifi of the same color receive it on the same frame.
