Some kind of Interval Brush

I have an idea for a future addition, maybe we can have an interval brush, because, when you have to create grids of pixels its very annoying to make each point, we should have an easier way to do that, so, a great addition would be a tool to create those grids, with a dialog box to modify the spacing, the quantity of vertical and horizontal dots or a graphical representation of X and Y, and the width of the pixels, what do you guys think? It would be like the normal brush but with those options

There already exists a grid function by pressing 'g' where you can cycle to the right size (1 to 9) that you need.

There is actually a hidden / probably never used once feature in TPT, custom brush shapes! You could create a (fixed size) bitmap and use it as a brush, also it can be resized in game.
I have a grid brush somewhere, maybe I can upload it and find details on how to create more. It sounds similar to what you want. -
