Element Suggestion: Erase Ray - ERAY

Instead of having elaborate schemes of using CRAY or DRAY to erase elements can we please have a deliberate element to do this with.

I suggest ERAY as Erase Ray

It should have the same INWR rule as DRAY (no diagonals)

TMP is how many pixels to erase in a straight line.

TMP2 is how many pixels to skip before erasing.

    deletes all elements.

That simple.  totally non selective.  just an eraser.

That does not delete FILT or DMND.  Also being completely indescriminate has some advantages.  I mean a REAL eraser.  that CRAY scheme is exactly what I meant in my first post.  it is less than ideal for many purposes.  It can be done with DRAY if you want to dedicate a large chunck of empty space to be an eraser, again less than ideal.  There is no need to keep erasing as an arcane science.  A good ingame method could allow for many new simulation and animations.  My selfish reason is for my printer tech.  Oh and maybe typewriter.  I am sure electronics and I bet subframe guys will exploit it.  With the ability to create and copy most anything most anywhere, I think being able to delete the same way will fit well.

maybe CRAY(SPRK) could act like this if the .pavg[1] is set.

    NO

pavg isn't a property that should ever be used like a .ctype or .tmp. It is just an internal thing used in elements that temporarily "eat" or "contain" other elements so that there is more space available to store the properties. Also elements that break with pressure use it for that.

CRAY uses all the other properties. pavg is the only one that it doesn't use

    EDIT: does CRAY use life?

EDIT2: actually, it seems weird to use life for this... It would make more sense to have a new conductor, maybe PGMN (P-type germanium)?

pavg isn't a property I ever want people to use. I only added it to the console for completion (it already had flags). It exists to be data storage for certain elements which need it, and nothing else.

    Also,

Ok. It seems weird to use a property to control this anyway. A new conductor would make more sense.

    what about tmp2?

I don't know, I assume he doesn't like that so much either, but I added it to DRAY anyway because the element wouldn't be so useful without it.

tmp2 should be visible for CRAY, DRAY, and PSTN
