Make the menus less crowded

    - move FUSE into the EXPLOSIVES menu

    - move WWLD into the LIFE menu (stuff in there isn't used very often, so it's OK if it scrolls)

    - move MERC into LIQUIDS

    - move EMP into EXPLOSIVES

    - remove FWRK from the menus (it can still be accessed from the console)

    - move SHLD into ELECTRONICS

Now the menus don't scroll anymore! (plus they make more sense!)

I'd move WWLD into special as LIFE is exclusively for GOL elements.

It isn't technically GOL, but it is pretty similar.

A lot of these ideas don't make much sense, moving WWLD at all doesn't make sense, it doesn't belong anywhere except electronics. Removing FWRK is just pointless. Although I agree that the menus need to be sorted out. A lot of moderators think so too.

I think the UI just needs to be redesigned. We could play with other screen sizes too (simulation area will always be the same). The screen could easily be wider and fit on any normal screen size it currently does. I don't know what we would put on the right though or how we would make it all work. A textbox to search for elements might be nice (instead of pressing 'e'), I can never find what i'm looking for and i'm a TPT dev >_>.

Also a second interface would be nice if we ever make an android version. Maybe some kind of thing you could scroll on the right (small) to make it move through menus. Dunno if I am describing this nicely.

If we don't redesign anything, maybe we could just have two rows of elements (like some really really old versions) and remove some extra menus that aren't needed. But that would make the game taller when it really should be wider.

Also, I do like all these changes except the WWLD, FWRK, and SHLD ones.

Maybe we could put the debug menus on the right, so they don't cover up the top of the simulation area.

EDIT: like this (sorry for the crappy picture, but you get the idea):

    Crapppp

    here's a better thing:

I moved MERC into liquids and FUSE/FSEP into explosives.

This means that now, electronics, explosives, and solids each scroll, and just have one extra element. I changed it so that an extra element will show at the left edge even when cut off, which means you won't have to scroll to see that DRAY/GBMB/GOLD exists.

I might move EMP into powered, which would make electronics not scroll anymore. Not sure though. STOR is already in that menu even though technically not powered like the others.

I have a lua file set to autorun which moves around and unhides all the elements.

I move DLAY and SWCH into powered.

TRON and EMBR into sensor. (TRON changes direction if it senses something, EMBR disapears on contact)

STOR, GBMB, BHOL, WHOL, VENT, VACU, PRTI and PRTO into force. (its more like movers now)

    FUSE into explosive.

    MORT and BIZG into gas.

    FRZW and MERC into liquid.

    EQVE into powders.

TUNG, PSTS and BIZS into solids.

    GLOW into radioactive.

LOLZ, LOVE and INSL into special.

And SPRK and erase into tools.

SPRK should get its own dedicated button on the right.  soo many saves need to be sprk'd.
