    They made a f***ing 1.8.7? Do they REALLY need to devote 8 full updates to just fixing bugs that only 5% of minecraft players care or even know about before they can add a big update with new things that everyone actually cares about?

    1.8 had a ton of security holes (some of which have been in there for a long time). Some of them crashed users, some could be used to make anyone an op on the server.

    So ... very bad security bugs. It isn't wasting very much of their time to do a minor update.

    Don't worry, my MC server has been cancelled, so I can devote all the time I spend in MC to building... whatever you want me to build!

     

    Just please don't get me to build complex redstone systems, large industrial buildings or repetitive patterns.

    Well ... if you start building really cool things then sure I could maybe give you spawn access. Just remember that this is a survival server so you have to get what you need yourself :P, but we have done so much digging that there are double chests full of tons of stuff (cobble, stone, other 3 stone types, prismarine, etc.)

    cracker64 showed me a really cool plugin that's similar computercraft computers, but done with a server side plugin. I may or may not load this. It would allow for a lot of chest automation and other cool stuff through lua (and the API is less insane than computercraft, you can actually tell what item you have). It replaces maps but I think there is something you can do to still use them.

    I will start building a new lobby on tuesday. Look for a plugin called The Last Airbender; it allows players to choose one of 5 elements; Air, Water, Earth, Fire and Chiblocking, and then use its powers as a weapon.

    Also I don't want any non vanilla-y plugins. Even though I might load that computercraft-like one because computercraft is awesome :P. It doesn't affect gameplay at all though unless you make a computer.

    BTW it wouldn't be a good idea to add too many mods because it makes tha server lag a lot, and not all of them are compatible with each other.
