Fullscreen mode suggestion.

    Why doesent full screen play at the monitors native resolution?

    Because the play area is of a fixed resolution. This has been widely decided to stay the same, although as past has shown it'll be a feature in a few versions.

    GOLD, PROT, ELEC, GLOW, and O2 are all basic elements and were easy to code. But we can't just say "lets make the screen resizable" and suddenly make it, because the reason we don't have it is restrictions in the code. The simulation uses a fixed XRES value, and the interfaces are designed with fixed sizes too. The third issue is saves and how to deal with that and the server.


    To fix this bug, it's possible there could be some kind of nice looking scaling, but i'm not sure how. TPT doesn't scale very well, especially the font and icons. The only thing SDL does for us is double each pixel, and it seems to sometimes do some kind of scaling in fullscreen, but it isn't perfect and leaves the edges empty.

    Jacob1 is one of the, if not the most productive moderators on TPT, and has definitely not coded it half-assedly - he's also not just a "silly kid", none of the moderators are, or they never would have become moderators.
