NTCT and PTCT always conduct when electricity is conducted from a wall. Seems like NTCT only checks the tempature when receives a spark from other conductors.
Once I tried using NTCT as a wire. I heated it to a sufficient temperature but didn't conduct. I heated it more and it melted. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Looks like the wiki was updated to explain it better. The description is slightly confusing and the temperature limit only applies to certain elements. Here's a chart I made a really long time ago:
