How to prevent PIPE uncoloring elements?

    Hey,

I noticed painted liquids or powders become uncolored after passing through pipes.

Is it possible to prevent Pipes from uncoloring elements?

    Thank you

    Not at the moment, no.

It could be changed so that particles keep their colours, but doing that would prevent PIPE from being decorated. Which is more important: particles maintaining decoration colour in PIPE, or allowing PIPE to be decorated?

Yeah, if you put a colored particle on top of PIPE, it will get uncolored which gets annoying sometimes.

Another problem is that pipe resets the tmp2 of elements, so PQRT and molten QRTZ become only one color. This is because pipe stores the elements inside using tmp2 instead of ctype for some reason.

Decorating PIPE is quite nice to disguise pipelines in saves, i.e.

However, it depends which has more functionality. Maintaining colour could mean that sorters could display their functionalities easier, a la

Because PIPE uses its ctype to keep track of the green/red/blue pattern.
