Theories about PT physics

I just want a place to discuss various hard-to-determine things about Powder Toy physics. For example, there are one or two that have been bothering me for a while, that I would like to hear either answers to or theories about.
-What is the speed of light? Photons move fairly slowly (falling stone can move faster). I personally like to think that the speed of light is the speed at which particles become invisible (there are some lasers that take advantage of portals and accelorators to make the photons invisible)
-What is the real-world equivalent of Pressure? It has almost nothing to do with how condensed particles are, and can be used to make infinite energy. Fill a box with noble gas, put an air only wall, and you get infinite pressure. Eventually.
So, basically, if you have any questions about TPT, or theories about how it works, please post them here!

There is no speed of light. But in the new version the maximum velocity is 10000 14142.14 pixels per second? Not that anything in TPT ever goes that fast ...

Also pressure is just arbitrary units. Make something up :P

Max velocity is currently 14142.14 pixels per frame. I would be overjoyed to be able to decrease it, but that would probably cause people to complain because it limits how much air velocity fast particles can generate when they hit an obstacle (although they only generate this much air velocity because the air sim was written when no particles could ever travel that fast - ACEL didn't exist. Ideally, air velocity generation should be interpolated for fast particles, and happen along the whole path instead of only at a few points along the path).

And what exactly can we do with photons if they move so fast?
