Problem with uranium.

Appeal to developers. Correct the problem with the uranium in the new version, or add a new element uranium isotope U235. The fact that the neutron bombardment of uranium, a chain reaction of nuclear fission of uranium atoms in the game but this does not occur (this occurs only DEUT and PLUT).

I think the uranium element in the game is supposed to represent unenriched or depleted uranium, which would normally not sustain a chain reaction, except in some special reactor designs that use heavy water as a moderator. The effect of it heating up under pressure could be due to the very small quanity of remaining U-235.

I'm not an expert in things like this, but URAN isn't meant to be fully realistic anyway. It's just a game, and possibly whoever added URAN years ago made a mistake, or just intended it to work how it does. It's not a bug and isn't going to be changed.

I remember someone wanted me to add U235 a long time ago, but I never did. I guess DEUT and PLUT work fine.

not only in the new version, it's been like that several versions back. it's possible that it has been that way since the time it was added.  URAN is made as a byproduct during PLUT reactions in-game, so it's likely to simulate Uranium that has been "spent".

(also in order to do what is shown in thediagram, elements Krypton and Barium would need to be added.)

I wonderd the samething when, I joined back in late 2012. But uranium isn't, suppost to be realistic it's just a game.

I could write a lua script for you

just means kripton will be noble gas and i'll add barium

URAN in this game is essentially as inert as STNE,except it does get hot when under preasure and probably kills STKM

Thanks, but I did want to create a script. I do not know, it looks like the line in the script that is responsible for the nuclear reaction. Could you tell me what it looks like a string that is responsible for nuclear chain reaction (in *.lua format)?
