So I was trying to hack ice with the property editor tool. However, I missed the ice and clicked in empty space. A blue screen of powder death promptly presented itself. Something about an I/O error. I have done some simple tests and the bug occurs when the cursor is hovering above some particles, but the mouse actually clicks empty space. I have the latest version, downloaded within about 5 mins. I entered nothing into the initial popup before clicking next to the ice. Does anyone else experience this? For such a major bug I would expect more threads posted about it.
EDIT:
By 'hovering' I mean the larger sursor contains some particles. By 'clicking empty space' I mean the tip of the mouse isn't pointing to a particle.
I have been having a similar bug with the PROP tool, except, a bit less extreme. When I use it, it works like the delete button instead, deleting particles within the cursor's cirlce.
When I say hovering, I mean the circular cursor contains some particles but the pixel at the middle, at the tip of the mouse, is not on a particle. The bug seems to be happening on fullscreen with any particle type - I also tried concrete.
I am at version 89.2. Does TPT send errors to the STDERR? Is no one getting the error?
The error seems to have 'disappeared'. Odd.
I have the same bug at some life-types (They are deleting other life-types at my cursor if I want to place other life-types there (Cursor=the place in which the elements are appearing)) I wanted to say something else which was REALLY important... but I have forgotten it during writing this text D:
