    why should you be able to see through signs when zoomed? The point of zoom is to see close up, not through things ...

     Maybe they could have an option to deactivate signs? They can be somewhat obtrusive since they aren't erased in the same way that everything else is. But by checking signs on/off you could have it like the main overlay HUD, where you can turn it off for better view and back on at will.
