No, we are not going to check everything before it is posted/published. We don't have enough spare time for that.

 

The only place where approval of new things might be useful is tags (but approving each tag string like "electronic" or "city" once, not each tag on each save), since a large portion of tags are useless for their intended purpose of categorising saves to make them easy to find. Some sort of automated save classifier might be better though.

 

The majority of forum posts are read by at least one moderator within a day. For everything else, we mostly rely on users (you, for example) to point out problems to us. 

 

For comments or saves which break the rules, use the report button that appears in game when opening the relevant save. Posting about it on the forum also works, but reports are easier for us.

 

For problems arising from conversations, start a conversation with a moderator and give them a link to the relevant conversation.

we already do that for tags, and just look at all the hundreds of fancy tags people create to get around that ... badword filters don't help very much at all.

Although maybe filtering save titles might be nice, but only direct matches with spaces around the word.

Also I took care of the things mentioned in this thread, just use the report button to report anything odd like those. We aren't going to hand review any single thing (posts, comments, saves), because that would take far too much work and unless we could have people on 24/7 it would just be too much delay.
