    It seems that TPT was written in C before this commit and after this commit TPT is C++.

    Am I right?

    when simon started the TPT++, there was a separate repo, simtr/PowderToypp
    when TPT++ replaced the official, simon just copied the code from PowderToypp repo to The-Powder-Toy (lel too hipster for cross-repo merges)

    The TPT was massively rewritten a while ago, and the C++ rewrite was called TPT++ until when it was merged with actual The-Powder-Toy and became TPT in itself.

    Actually there was a ton of stuff before that, so no you aren't right. boxmein and mniip are right in that it was started from scratch separately.
