Why F2 making screenshot? Help says that screenshot making "P".

They both do. I think F2 for screenshot is adopted from minecraft, so is F3 for extra HUD. Also F5 reloads simulation (from browsers).

Particle monitor script uses F2 and F3 keys, but HUD on F3 dont takes a shit on my TPT folder =)

I think hotkeys must be customizible. So, I use Print Screen for screenshot (but this is only habit)

Maybe someday they will be customizable, but for now just move it to F6 and F7 manually or something.

You could probably write a lua script to customize several of them, and make your own (well, that part is already entirely possible).

Also yeah, F2 and F3 I totally got from minecraft, lol. And F5 was constantly requested, people were asking for a "reload the sim" key shortcut and I would always say ctrl+r, but I guess they didn't get it ...

F5 i use to setfpscap =) Hotkeys for things that is in clickable interface IMHO not needed.

i prefer the other way around. It's very comfortable to use 'e' search so that you don't have to move your brush to select a new element.

    Heheheh no.

Really, hotkeys are not getting in the way of mouse users, the mouse is not getting in the way of keyboard users. That is, until you implement only a hotkey, or only a GUI element. I personally prefer to do everything by keyboard (I even use vimperator, I don't navigate web pages with a mouse anymore unless youtube).

'e' is comfortable to search if you dont remember where is element you need, or hidden elements. I am using 'e'.

mmm... you're strange 'one in a million' man. But if it is OK for you - use what you want =)
