what with magnetic & electric fields? theres will be magnetic field that goes out & into the screen that
when charged particles(electrons, protons) passing through them the particles will change their direction
of their motion, depends on the charge & magnetic field.
the electic field will attract or repell charged particles, & will change their velocity.
2. new elements:
PLST - plastic. can be charge by sparks and electrons & discharge when conductor is connected or by
proton that impact it. when it near neutral plastic a lightning will appear between them. breaks at high
pressure & very low temprature into BPLT. melts into LPLT & ignites at relatively low temperature(some
hundreds of celsius).
POCH - powered charge. creates electric charge when charged with PSCN according to its temprature.
PMGT - powered magnet. creates magnetic field around when charged with PSCN according to its
temperature.
positive is field into the screen, negative is field out of the screen.
3. phenomenons:
- when sparks are going through a wire, magnetic fields that surround it according to magnetics rules(right
hand).
- when magnetic field is changes fast enough on where wire is, sparks will be appeared in that point.
- photons will be surrounded with tiny electric & magnetic fields.
- charged particles will be surrounded with electric field when moving slow, & magnetic when moving
fast.
4. tools:
INMG - create magnetic field goes into the screen. use like pressure.
OUTM - create magnetic field goes out of the screen. use like pressure.
ELET - create electric field goes in certain direction. use like wind.
ELIN - create electric field that surrounding cursor, direction to it. use like pressure.
EOUT - create electric field that surrounding cursor, direction away from it. use like pressure.
new display mode: electromagnetics. view electric & magnetic fields like pressure & velocity modes.
i think that feature will be usefull mainly in making particle accelarators... :)
Please, include why it is useful when suggesting elements.
Any suggestion with descriptions may go to the extremely long list of elements being added. If you have a good reason to add this, it can probably go to the first. Otherwise, it make take months, or even years.
Developers only want to make those actually useful elements. For example, PROT is really awesome and it can be used for PROT lasers, spark stopping, which can be really useful, so jacob1 did it. An element with just reactions, just to let TPT be realistic, just something from real life, is not going to be accpeted.
If you want your suggestions to be accepted soon:
1.Easy to code.
2.It won't use too much memory.
3.It won't be laggy.
4.It will be easy to make without bugs.
5.No alternative in game is present.

PLST: Lightning - we already have TESA for alternative. Fire - we already have a lot of elements that ignites like that (WOOD).
POCH & PMGT: Uses too much memory and too hard to code.
3.phenomenons
MAGNET Really hard to code and hard to make without any bugs.
4.tools
INMG and OUTM: MAGNET - you know TPT won't have moving solids. It will be hard to code, and magnetic field will use a lot of memory.
ELET, ELIN and EOUT: With Newtonian Gravity on, NGRV and GRAV can be an alternative.
Sadly, this has been suggested and rejected before, but you have made this pretty detailed, so this could possibly be implemented in combination with one of the other threads discussing the coding aspects of it.
Magnets are cool
This is also an old thread i want restart this conversation so it can stay relevant and i doubt anyone will ever see this if no one does then ;-; but if someone does see this =) this needs to be implemented
