Physics and new elements

    Hi,

so, my long way of thinking has been getting through this:

    Physics:

Saltwater = when freezing, releases salt down to bottom. More dense saltwater is harder to freeze. Less dense, easier.

Water = starts evaporating at +1°C (low rate - very!). E.g. 30°C evaporates and forms clouds.

    Cools of slower than land.

Air = hot air goes up, cold gets down in from higher points of lands.

Oxygen = doesn't burn. If an element is burning, and oxygen is near/ around it, it burns faster. It can't burn without Oxygen.

    New elements:

Instead of the GOO and PLANT( remove those two!!), there should be:

    Soil( dry/ wet):

Water evaporates from it at high temperatures.

    Plants grow in it.

    Instead of PLANT:

    Seed for flower, tree, grass.

    "drinking" of water:

They absorb water through soil and it evapororates from their leafs.

They can also grow in Sand( Cactus :D).

If you've got any questions, ask below.

you can not remove an element from the game, all saves that use it will be broken

Well, slowly, over the course, it can be removed:

    Version with PLANT;

    Version without.

still no, saves using it will not magically disappear, and, there aren't 5-10 of them, at least a few thousands

If we were to do any of these things, we would definitely need a "Realistic" option, since it just breaks too many things. If we were doing that, a ton of how the game works and elements could be also be changed along with it. A realistic mode would be a lot of work though, that's why it hasn't been done.

Saltwater being more / less dense could easily be done. The water slowly evaporating maybe, BUBW already does that.

Hot air already does go up, sort of. Remember that air in tpt is just a void, it doesn't have any temperature unless you turn on ambient heat.

As for oxygen burning, this is one of the only realistic things that just isn't feasible. We can't flood fill the air in tpt with OXYG, because that would be extremely laggy. Also trying to get oxygen to go near things burning is hard, it will just be pushed away. Basically, nothing would burn because of how burning and gases work. Also it would make FIRE more laggy to have to do a large search around it for OXYG.

I don't think GOO needs to be removed. I have no idea what goo is supposed to be, but I don't think SOIL. SOIL can be added separately. We also don't really need to remove PLNT, just have it be part of the trees / flowers that grow, we can have it grow out of multiple elements like PLNT, WOOD, ROOT, LEAF, or anything we decide.

I agree with all except PLANT thing.

Simply, how the current "plant' works is very, very wrong.

YES, the Goo :(. Why are there so many pointless things anyway?

Because they cover lots of different elements and enable unrealistic things that are amusing to use.

     You don't understand.

There are things which don't do anything. And that is what I mean and ment.

Simmer down. Don't delete these elements.
