Is reposting vote farming?

    Quite recently I've seen many old saves 'reposted' by their creators in an attempt to get to the fp again, and suceeding. Is this allowed?

    I haven't seen any rule about it.
    It probably is allowed to repost your save.

    Maybe mods will demote saves that gets on FP for totally longer than a week.

    the FP forumula is that everything that is on FP a week, gets off FP.

    well..........i done it before but now i stopped...........it's boring when you have a page of saves :P :L OHHH that kind of reposting? i thought you meant with the button that makes it stay a new save but pushes it to the top of the "by date" list,......

    When I see this, I usually disable their old save, and then demote their new one, unless they have a good reason.

    The only time i've seen this recently is that traction city save, he just wanted it under a new name, and i'm sure he didn't mean to do it, so I just allowed it (it's a good save anyway).

    i have learnt not to any more, once i added a logo for on of my groups that i forgot to add and reposted a lot of my save's because i was updating them. about ten got at least one downvote. if it was a mod i will forgive them.
