Well, I want the HUD to display VX, VY, tmp2, flags and ctype in numeric in debug mode, it actually is important for me.

Don't we already have enough info? I keep the debug HUD on all the time by default, and I never use things like vs and vy, or flags
Something I do want eventually it customizable HUD's, it would have all of these options
I made custom HUD's already in my mod, I suggest you try using that. It even has an option to enable flags, lol (also the numeric ctype one, I think that's on by default). This is what I do when I need to see tmp2 or something, I just temporarily enable it and turn it off when done, since I don't want it taking up any more space than it needs. Go into the favorites menu -> MORE -> HUD2 -> options to change the 3 sections of the HUD. It's sort of ugly now, I might move it into an options interface eventually ...

yes you can ... I save all my saves in my mod, and they load just fine for people. You can't publish them if you use elements they don't have though, so as long as you don't use VIRS, moving solids, or anything else, you will be fine.
