there has been lots of debate as to whether this is actually the first save in tpt, and whether it was actually made in 1970. i am just here to ask any Moderators or Developers to once and for all tell me and everyone else whether or not this is actually the first save in tpt history.

Wouldn't this be the oldest save?

No, a tpt save was not made back in 1970 ...

that's just ridiculous to think, the internet wasn't even accessible to people back then, computers were huge and expensive, and tpt has only been around not many years.
The reason it says 1970 is because it has no time associated with when it was made, so it defaults to a time of 0 which = 1970. The reason save 1 does not is because he actually did come back one time and resave it with something in it. So yes, save 1 is still the oldest known save on this server.

I've always been suspicious as to why save id 1 is that, and then there are 98 empty save id's until 100. Probably they were either lost back when the server was corrupted a long time ago, or something else happened to them, and save id 1 was inserted back manually or something. I still consider save 1 to be the oldest though.

There might be some empty save IDs, but there aren't 98 empty ones between 1 and 100. Example:

since TPT came out without online capability saves like my ID#31&33 were passed around as stamps before online capability existed. The first "Save" is probably id:1 i would think. but since stamps were passed around before then the question is kinda moot, as if the question is; "who came up with the first stamp," since the stamp ID's were generated locally the only way to tell would be by date created, not date uploaded, nor the ID number.(I still have a folder with about 30 pre-100ID saves that i made but arent worth uploading) I feel like mentioning when stamps were getting passed around, goo acted like INSL, i dont think there were silicon types, and people were still compressing WALL-logic to make archaic logic gates. And that #31&33 are really the first electronics that actually do something.

There is an ID 1, it's been around since before Nov. 2012 (or whatever it says the repost date was)

EDIT: Actually, I ran a script in jacob1's mod to open every save from 1 to 100 in sequence, and I got these:

    , , , , ,

I stopped after 36 - they weren't as significant anymore - but there are some really old ones besides Marbdy's Logic Gates!

Unfortunately, I just discovered that the first two, despite having thumbnails (do !load 5 and !load 23 to see them), they no longer exist. I suppose the creator deleted them...?

I think it was made by a dev the creator or a normal dude and the devs changed the date to 1970
