Recovery Questions

    I find it strange that tpt doesn't have an option for this. It would make the game much more secure, plus it would make group accounts much easier to manage.

     

    It's probably already on the list of countless things to add, but +1 for support? Lets put it at the top of the list.

    Yeah well two-factor authentication would make it much more secure. Recovery questions can easily fall prey to social engineering, and a tremendous lot of people don't even bother, putting answers rather as passwords.

    I think we have password reset emails, it seems like that would be good enough ...

    I don't like recovery questions though, since they are usually too easy to guess. Ex. the person that "hacked" into Sarah Palin's email because of her recovery questions.

    Also if that doesn't work, you could always either make another account to try and ask for it back, or email Simon somehow, or just come on irc.

    Or as an alternative we could require a code from our emails if we are logging in from another location (Possibly a problem with dynamic IP adress unless its applying to a range of numbers.)
