PTCT not working like its supposed to!

I have made a nuclear reactor, and part of it is using PTCT to help control the reactor's temp.
basically, i thought that the PTCT would stop conducting a flow of electricity between a battery and an e-wall separating a WHOL from some Uranium, but for some reason, it keeps on conducting, at upwards of 500C! Is this supposed to happen, am i doing something wrong? btw the circuit with the PTCT is as follows (pixels are line length) :
1 pix Battery, 2 pix PSCN, 2 pix NSCN, then several pix of PCTC, then to the e-wall
    (no air inbetween)

    help

The problem is, NSCN ALWAYS conducts to PTCT regardless of temperature. Try PSCN instead.
