My powder toy has a very low fps

I'm actually wondering why powder toy runs so slow to me, everytime I open a save from the front page, my fps drops to like 15 fps. But when I play games like Portal 2, Half life 2, Gmod, Battlefield 3 and 2, and WoW with highest video settings, I can play it with like 50 fps -.-
Is there maybe a settings in tpt to change the maximum fps usage? Like in minecraft, "maximum fps"?
Or is it just my computer not able to run 2D games?

hmm, try doing "tpt.setfpscap(100)" in the console without the quotes.

none of those games use CPU, they're all GPU, so you can play them on a 8086 with a graphics card -
That doesn't help, it makes my FPS 100, but when I open a save, like Man or Robot, it just drops my FPS to 15.
