Why was my topic locked???

My topic called Spend your money wisely, was locked. I was just trying to start a minigame and it had good rules and everything. I worked hard on it and thought it was kinda fun and entertaining. I would first like to ask the modders to not lock this so I can ask y. 2. Is it possible to unlock a topic? 3. The modder said I give 'the rest of the money' to charity then it was locked. Y??? What did I do wrong and I think If topics cant be unlocked, I might start a new one so please tell me what to not do.
Wait, I think I know y. Its the new policy for modders to delete minigames at there freewill.

moderators can lock threads, having a lot of games is just spammy. I guess the one that locked it didn't see much potential in the game, and we already have a few other games. I feel the same way though, your idea was good but it wasn't likely people would correctly follow the rules, and it probably would have turned to spam. It already started going wrong when someone spent all the money in one post, ignoring the rules, that probably would have continued, and you can't control what people will spend it on.
Also can you please use "why" instead of "y"? It makes your argument look much better if you use proper grammar. -

You can't, but you can request locks provided that you are the creator of the thread. -
The possibility of spam was too great. Once someone goes off topic with spending it all on charity and buying 500 bagels, it just doesn't make sense with the topic anymore.
If you find a new way to prevent this, great send it to a moderator and me and we'll be able to unlock it.

Ok, well first, yeah, I need to control it but buying 500 bagels is Ok. Its part of the fun in the game. But I do need to find a way to stop the spending it all. Ok, Ill make a rule about that. And will any modder back me up if in my rules I say, "If u break THIS (the no spending all the money) rule, I will contact my sponser modder (or whatever) and you might be perm banned. Most important rule!"
If so then I can pretty much stop it and keep it under control.
New: I added new rules and I think it has a good enough warning. All I need now is a modder to report spammers to. I really want to make this happen so please will someone just say they'll check out spammers on my thing if I have a few. I will try to handle them with that threat if they are going "outside the lines" on comments but I need some truth in that if it real does get crazy.
P.S If u will agree, I think my thread is ready to go back up and I want to start fresh so erase every comment except mine and I can start over.

Ok but what do u suggest I say, "IF U DONT FOLLOW THE RULES I WILL HIDE YOUR COMMENT, RAWR!" I need to sound serious.
New: How 'bout this. Ill put "if you spam or troll in comments theres a risk you'll have to deal with the modderators so lets play by the rules. That way it can be descrete but still serious.
