Script Request/Challenge

Could someone write an anti-aliasing script and post it here? I tried to write one a while back, but it failed miserably.

I've been trying to learn Lua for a while now, and would like to know how it would work.

--In other words, include enough comments to be easily readable. This one, for example...

FOR THE MODERATORS: Don't worry, I don't want one so I can actually use it, I just want to see how they could work. I will delete it once I'm done with it if you want me to :)

Removes sharp edges from geometry by running a pass to calculate & render a smoother edge.

I recommend that you don't use this, or have yourself or anyone else make it. We can normally tell cgi from not cgi. You are good at fonts yourself, so i'm sure you can do anti-aliasing if you spend the time.

Also remember fonts are art ... so they are normally removed from the front page anyway.

No, I wasn't planning to use it :) I just wanted to see how one might work, and whether the results were even good.

well, you talk about it all the time, it seems like you know what it is and what it looks like, and how to make it in tpt too. I'm obviously still worried you will get banned again for cgi if you get one of these scripts. If we know you have it, we know that fonts made are more likely cgi than if you didn't have this. It's just not a good thing for you to have it, you've shown you know what this is anyway.

true...If I had one, I wouldn't be able to make any more fonts.

I have to agree, getting a script relating to art after getting two famous users banned for CGI is not exactly playing it safe... Mabye later after everyone has forgotten about this someone can PM you one.
