    why when u download powder toy word says it cannot read the file

     

    can anyone help me

     What do you mean "word"? I really hope you don't mean microsoft word.

    The Powder Toy doesn't get read by anything, it's an executable.

    When you download it, simply double click the .exe file.

    Word is the wrong program to open Powder Toy with. :(

    Download this file, double click it, then it will ask for some place to "extract" itself to. Click OK and a new folder with the name "powder-85.0-win32" should pop up there. Open the folder, inside that there's Powder.exe, which is the game.
