CLNE PCLN difference?

well i stumbled across this while i was messing with some lasers and for some reason 3 pix PCLN will clone a perfect stream of PHOT while 10 pix CLNE or BCLN doesn't even get a semi-solid stream, and PBCN only gets a 2 pix PHOT 1 pix NONE pattern,  why is this?

If you look a bit closer, you will find that PHOT are allowed to pass through PCLN, but not PBCN, which also means PHOT can spawn on top of other PCLN making a perfect stream.

Why this is, I can't be sure, since PBCN was meant to be exactly PCLN just breakable.  (Someone might fix this)

That explains the PBCN (putting that on the list of things to fix seems like a good idea) but what about the CLNE and BCLN? they don't even seem to make as many PHOT period

Yes, the powered clones are meant to be used for electronics and things, and create some things without any randomness (PHOT, GOL)

Well that just makes CLNE look crappy, but oh well

Clne randomly clones one of the 8 pixels per frame. Pcln clones all.
