A simply function that add few view modes that allow you to select renderer options you want and the ability to remember it so you don't have to set them every time you launch TPT. You can switch to your custom view mode later with shift+2(3, 4, etc.)

There's also something like Copy Settings that allow you make your view mode a copy of any view mode, which allow you to edit it as custom view mode base on other view modes(Fire View, or another custom view mode, for example)

    Sketch:

Click custom view mode to change to it, or shift + number key, like always.

Hold ctrl then the mode you are currently under will be highlighted, click custom view mode to overwrite it. Your cannot overwrite presented view modes(or you can?)

Custom view modes settings are stored in powder.pref.

I thought that was already possible.

I actually left in empty space so that buttons for custom view modes could be added, so that's why there is 3 spaces. I don't know if you should be able to overwrite the defaults.

Yes, it sounds quite user friendly and it would be very helpful for builders or someone who does fine electronics.

    Without the need for zooming.

Cool, however I lack the skill to build this myself, then all I can do is just wait :)

This sounds good, but personally, I always use Fancy Display.

I pretty much always use Nothing Display, except when I want to admire a bomb I made, where I use Fire Display.
